What is a plastic injection mold?
Injection molding is a forming process that uses molds. In mechanical designs, molds can be of various types. We move from the blanking mold, which precisely from the word “shears” the piece to be obtained, to the bending molds, mostly used to model steel sheets, to move on to our specific case with the injection mold. With injection molding it is possible to produce pieces of different shapes, even complex ones, in a continuous and rapid way and in large volumes, depending on customer requests or project characteristics. Molding is a process of forcing raw plastic materials into a mold. The molds are made up of metal or resin blocks that can be disassembled into several parts. Inside them you get a hollow part that has the shape of the object you want to obtain
